About the Role

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will provide high-quality mechanical services across a range of heavy mobile equipment. This is a hands-on role involving:

• Diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and overhaul of mobile plant equipment
• Breakdown response and scheduled maintenance
• Working with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Interpreting and following work orders, SOPs, and site procedures
• Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
• Conducting inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

You will be expected to actively contribute to a safe workplace, participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments (JSEA, SLAM), and uphold both company and client safety standards.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

Essential:

• Certificate III in a relevant trade (Diesel Fitting or equivalent)
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in mining or heavy earthmoving
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence
• Working at Heights & Confined Space (RII)
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team

Desirable:

• HR/MR/LR Driver’s Licence
• Additional tickets (Forklift, Dogging, Rigging, EWP, Crane)
• Experience across a variety of OEM equipment
