Based within our Planning function, you will play a key role in coordinating workforce availability, scheduling personnel, managing rosters, and supporting operational efficiency. You will be working closely with Operations Managers, Supervisors, Recruitment, Payroll, clients, and employees, you will be the central point of coordination for workforce planning and scheduling activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage workforce rosters and manning schedules.
- Monitor workforce availability and proactively identify labour shortages.
- Coordinate labour sharing between divisions and engage subcontractors as required.
- Release rosters and communicate schedules to employees.
- Confirm employee site access and training compliance requirements.
- Book accommodation and prepare journey management plans where required.
- Review rosters for fatigue compliance, role accuracy, training requirements, and workforce capability.
- Process, cost, and distribute timesheets for payroll and invoicing purposes.
- Maintain strong communication with employees and assist with workforce-related queries.
- Coordinate uniforms and onboarding requirements.
- Build and maintain training requirements within workforce planning systems.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate employee and subcontractor records.
- Support the Operations team with additional administrative and planning activities as required.

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a scheduling, planning, workforce coordination, or similar role.
- Strong safety focus and commitment to compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of organisation and attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software systems.
- Current C Class Driver's Licence.
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage competing priorities.
Desirable
- Diploma in Business Administration or related qualification.
- Experience working in resource, mining, maintenance, construction, or industrial service environments.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
