We are seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our growing Diesel Division in the Bowen Basin. If you have a strong background maintaining heavy mining equipment and take pride in delivering quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you.
In this rostered role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repairs and diagnostics of a large-scale mining fleet, working alongside a supportive team committed to safety and operational excellence. About the Role:
Working a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, you will primarily maintain and repair:
- Caterpillar 6040/RH170 Excavators
- Hitachi EX5600-6 & EX5600-7 Excavators
- Liebherr R9800 Excavators
- 12% Superannuation paid on all hours

Previous experience on CAT, Hitachi & Liebherr Excavators within a mining environment is highly regarded.
The successful applicant, will have:
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Experience working Caterpillar 6040/RH170, Hitachi EX5600-6 & EX5600-7 & Liebherr R9800
- Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
- BMA Core Induction
- Working at Heights, Confined Space, GTA & EWP (Desirable)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Have the proven ability to liaise with both management and clients
- Uncompromising attitude to safety
- Ability to meet site requirements
