We're looking for an experienced Mobile Plant tradesperson or Field Service professional who is ready to transition into a Supervisor position, leading maintenance crews across Western Australia while remaining closely connected to the work.
This is a genuine opportunity to move beyond the toolbox and take ownership of projects from planning through to execution, working alongside clients, mentoring crews, and helping deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.
About the Role
As a Supervisor, you'll oversee the delivery of mobile plant maintenance, shutdowns, field service and project works across a variety of mine sites throughout WA.
You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget while providing leadership and technical guidance to your team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and preparing maintenance and project work scopes
- Coordinating labour, equipment and resources
- Supervising crews across shutdowns, field service and project work
- Building strong relationships with clients and acting as the primary site contact
- Managing daily project priorities, risks and schedule changes
- Monitoring project progress, budgets and quality outcomes
- Supporting reporting, documentation and project close-out
- Providing leadership, coaching and technical mentoring to tradespeople and apprentices
- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with company and client requirements
You'll work across a diverse range of equipment including:
- Excavators
- Dozers
- Loaders
- Haul Trucks
- Ancillary Mobile Plant
- Multiple OEM equipment types
Who We're Looking For
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, leading people and taking ownership of work.
You'll bring:
- Trade qualification (Mechanical or relevant Mobile Plant trade)
- Extensive experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment within mining or field service
- Strong technical knowledge across multiple OEMs
- Previous experience leading crews or acting in a Leading Hand or Supervisor capacity
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Strong organisational and planning abilities
- A practical, hands-on leadership style
- Good computer skills and confidence completing reports and project documentation
- A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
Essential Requirements
- Trade Certificate III
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Schedule 26
- First Aid Certificate
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Strong commitment to safety
Additional high-risk licences such as Forklift, Dogging, Crane, Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing are advantageous.
