We're looking for a proactive Mobile Plant Maintenance Coordinator to join our West Coast Asset Repairs & Maintenance team. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical expertise with leadership, planning and client engagement, supporting the successful delivery of maintenance and repair projects across Western Australia.

About the Role

As the Mobile Plant Maintenance Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the division, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with the Division Manager, you'll coordinate personnel, subcontractors and resources while providing hands-on technical support and leadership to field teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating mobile plant maintenance and repair activities across multiple projects
  • Planning work schedules, labour allocations and resource requirements
  • Monitoring project progress, budgets and delivery milestones
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Supporting estimating, tenders and work planning
  • Managing subcontractor performance and workforce productivity
  • Working closely with Recruitment and Mobilisation to ensure crews are project-ready
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to tradespeople
  • Ensuring projects meet safety, quality and compliance requirements
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the division
  • Completing project reporting, documentation and quality records

About You

You're an experienced Mobile Plant tradesperson with strong operational knowledge and a passion for leading people and delivering quality outcomes.

You'll bring:

  • Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel, Mobile Plant or a related mechanical trade
  • Experience within mining, heavy earthmoving or mobile plant maintenance
  • Previous leadership, supervisory or coordination experience
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Sound computer skills and experience with reporting and documentation
  • A genuine commitment to safety, quality and customer service

Essential Requirements

  • Trade Certificate III
  • Schedule 26 (WA)
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Strong commitment to safety

Additional high-risk licences including Forklift, Dogging, Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing are highly regarded.
