About the Role

Due to continued growth, we have a great opportunity for a Fixed Plant Shutdown Coordinator, with a can-do attitude to join our fantastic team. This position will be based in the Mackay office with weekly site visits required.

The position consists of working with new and existing clients to build on FMS Groups Fixed Plant shutdown capability and assisting with planning and Project management of major shutdowns.

To be successful in the role, you would have previous Fixed plant shutdown and maintenance experience, along with a trade or engineering background. Your ability to plan, organise and see a Project through to completion will ensure a high standard is delivered each and every time, working closely with the site and office teams.

This is a great opportunity to build your own team and help extend the capabilities of the Project division.

The successful applicant will need to:

  • Extensive fixed plant knowledge
  • Proven supervisor and project management skills
  • Positive & energetic personality
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of employees and clients – needs to be able to build strong working relationships with employees and clients and will be key to maintaining a positive culture
  • Be capable of dealing with changing work priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications – a strong ability with Excel
  • Strong safety focus and ability to be proactive in identifying, driving & coaching areas for improvement
  • Ability to meet site entry requirements
