About the Role

Due to continued growth, we have a newly created role to assist with People Management.

You will be the first point of contact to support our leaders and employees.

This position will provide high-level support and will include a variety of duties and responsibilities ranging from responding to basic employment queries to assisting with development and review of our policies & procedures and employee and leadership support.

You will have the ability to provide end to end support across a range of people and culture related needs. Including, but not limited to:

  • Be passionate about people management, with strong HR generalist experience
  • An understanding of and complete commitment to confidentiality  
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications 
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment & thrive on achieving deadlines.
  • Proven ability to contribute to a cohesive team environment demonstrated in sharing information, supporting team priorities and ensuring open communication.
  • Previous industry experience
  • Enthusiastic and want to be part of a fun, energetic and growing team

  • Who are we: As a family business, we have been operating for nearly 20 years. Our three Directors are all local boys, who lead the business by having an open-door policy. They have a full understanding of what makes the business successful, as two of them are Tradesmen & the third is our money man and all three have worked on mine sites and understand the business inside out.

The business has the Central Queensland division (CQ FMS), the Western Australia division (WA FMS) and the Papua New Guinea division (PNG FMS). With continued growth, we have recently created the Parts, Equipment & Components division (PEC FMS), by partnering with Ground Force & Tow Haul from the USA.

As a Group, we support our people and the communities in which we live and work, through sponsorship and community involvement. Some of the sporting clubs we have offered sponsorship or support to previously are, Mackay Rangers Football Club, Mackay Renegades & Comets Basketball Club, Saints Netball Club, Bakers Creek Tigers AFL Club & Carlton Devils Senior Rugby League Club.

We promote and provide support to the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Mackay Base Hospital, Movember, MACA Cancer 200, Prostate Cancer awareness month, Breast Cancer awareness month, RIN’s R U OK Day Breakfast, which we have hosted for the last few years.
