We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our great team. The position is working in a dynamic team where the workload is high volume but rewarding.

To successfully perform the role, you would have experience with:

  • Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
  • Reconciling and processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Maintaining records
  • Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing payments
  • Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
  • Continuing to improve the payment process
  • High volume invoice processing
  • Reconciliation of vendor statements and General Ledger accounts
  • Responding to internal and external queries
  • Analyse, identify and resolve invoice related issues
  • Cover other duties when staff on leave
  • Any other duties from time to time assigned by the reporting manager

About You

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (essential).
  • Demonstrated high levels of attention to detail and ability to check facts accurately (essential).
  • Tech-savvy and ease in picking up new systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively when necessary (essential).
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Honest, reliable and punctual.
