FMS Group is seeking an experienced Structural Supervisor to lead high-performing trades teams across structural, installation, repairs, welding, fabrication and surface treatment projects. To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience supervising teams across multiple work fronts, including structural repairs, welding repairs, new fabrication works and surface treatment within a brownfields environment. You will demonstrate a strong safety focus, excellent leadership capability, and the ability to coach and mentor your team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple work fronts
- Working closely with your team to ensure timeframes and deadlines are met
- Conducting regular pre-starts and toolbox meetings to communicate priorities and direction
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately, to specification, and in line with QA processes
- Driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- Maintaining and promoting an uncompromising safety culture

To be successful, you will ideally bring:
Qualifications & Licences
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Supervisor & G2 Certificate (desirable)
- High Risk Work Licence – Forklift and/or Rigging
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- Gas Test Atmosphere
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience supervising small teams of tradespeople
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organisational ability
- A commitment to building a positive and cohesive team culture
- A proactive and uncompromising attitude toward safety
