We’re seeking a highly experienced Auto Electrician – Mobile Maintenance to join a major mining operation in the Papua New Guinea Highlands. This is a unique opportunity to step beyond hands-on work and mentor, coach, and develop national technicians while working on a diverse mobile fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor PNG national technicians
- Provide technical guidance and maintenance QA
- Support diagnostics and complex fault finding
- Lead by example in safety and work standards
- Identify skill gaps and recurring issues
- Drive reliability and continuous improvement
About You
- Electrical Trade Qualification
- Extensive experience with mobile mining equipment
- Strong mentoring or coaching capability
- High technical credibility
- Ability to influence without authority
- Calm, patient approach with a strong safety focus
