To support our recent and continued growth we are looking for a Payroll Software Implementation Consultant to join our team. This position can be based at Perth, Brisbane or Mackay.

You’ll work directly with multiple vendors to find the best solutions to suit our growing group, deliver end‑to‑end payroll system implementations, from discovery and design through to configuration, testing, go‑live, and post‑implementation support. Think of yourself as the person who makes payroll less stressful, more accurate, and far more efficient.

What You’ll Do

• Lead payroll system implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, award interpretation, configuration, testing and user support.
• Partner with our payroll software vendor to test updates, validate features, and ensure a smooth release cycle.
• Translate payroll legislation, enterprise agreements, and business rules into accurate system configurations.
• Support data cleansing, migration and validation to make sure payroll goes live without surprises.
• Provide training, coaching and documentation to help users understand and confidently operate the new system.
• Use your integration know‑how to connect payroll with HR, finance, time & attendance, and other business systems.
• Troubleshoot issues, solve problems, and keep projects moving.

What You Bring

• Experience implementing payroll or HRIS platforms
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, legislation, compliance, and modern awards/EBAs.
• Experience with system configuration, testing, and integration delivery.
• Skills in data cleansing, transformation and migration.
• Strong understanding of APIs and integration logic
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving talent, you enjoy finding the “why” behind the numbers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially when breaking down technical concepts for non‑technical users.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation, process maps, and reporting.
