About the Role

Are you an experienced HSEQ professional ready for your next challenge?

We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on HSEQ Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work in a town-based role while maintaining a strong presence across operational sites.

You’ll play a key role in supporting our operations by driving safety initiatives, maintaining compliance, and promoting a strong HSEQ culture across the business.

This role suits someone who is a self-starter, enjoys being visible in the field, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to ensure systems are not just in place—but actively working.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and lead a strong safety culture across all operations
• Support and maintain the HSEQ Management System in line with ISO standards
• Conduct audits, inspections, and safety observations
• Lead incident investigations, including ICAM where required
• Facilitate risk assessments, JSAs, and Broad Brush Risk Assessments
• Monitor compliance with WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, and Australian Standards
• Maintain accurate HSEQ records and reporting
• Support rehabilitation and return-to-work programs
• Conduct field leadership activities, mentoring and supporting operational teams
• Drive continuous improvement across HSEQ systems and processes
• Support the use and implementation of MYOSH software

About You

You are a confident communicator with a proactive mindset and a genuine passion for safety and continuous improvement.

To be successful, you will have:

• Qualification in Health & Safety (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree)
• Rehabilitation & Return to Work Coordinator certification
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Experience in a similar HSEQ role
• Strong understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
• Experience working within an Integrated Management System (IMS)
• Internal Auditor Training (highly regarded)
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
