About the Role
Are you an experienced HSEQ professional ready for your next challenge?
We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on HSEQ Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work in a town-based role while maintaining a strong presence across operational sites.
You’ll play a key role in supporting our operations by driving safety initiatives, maintaining compliance, and promoting a strong HSEQ culture across the business.
This role suits someone who is a self-starter, enjoys being visible in the field, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to ensure systems are not just in place—but actively working.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and lead a strong safety culture across all operations
- Support and maintain the HSEQ Management System in line with ISO standards
- Conduct audits, inspections, and safety observations
- Lead incident investigations, including ICAM where required
- Facilitate risk assessments, JSAs, and Broad Brush Risk Assessments
- Monitor compliance with WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, and Australian Standards
- Maintain accurate HSEQ records and reporting
- Support rehabilitation and return-to-work programs
- Conduct field leadership activities, mentoring and supporting operational teams
- Drive continuous improvement across HSEQ systems and processes
- Support the use and implementation of MYOSH software
About You
You are a confident communicator with a proactive mindset and a genuine passion for safety and continuous improvement.
To be successful, you will have:
- Qualification in Health & Safety (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree)
- Rehabilitation & Return to Work Coordinator certification
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Experience in a similar HSEQ role
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience working within an Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Internal Auditor Training (highly regarded)
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
