About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven West Coast Recruitment Lead to take ownership of our recruitment function across Western Australia.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for delivering end-to-end recruitment strategy and outcomes, ensuring we attract, engage, and retain the talent needed to support our operations and project growth. You will lead recruitment activities across the full lifecycle—from workforce planning and sourcing through to mobilisation—while driving proactive initiatives such as talent pooling and reverse marketing.
Working closely with our East Coast Recruitment Lead, you’ll help shape a consistent, high-performing national recruitment approach.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage recruitment delivery across the West Coast
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies, including talent pooling and reverse marketing
- Partner with operational leaders to understand workforce needs and forecast demand
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency
- Drive project recruitment and ensure workforce readiness for mobilisation timelines
- Lead and mentor the Recruitment Coordinator
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across operations, People & Culture, and external providers
- Monitor recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, cost efficiency) and provide insights
- Ensure all recruitment and onboarding processes align with company procedures and HSEQ requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement across recruitment systems and processes
About You
You are a proactive and solutions-focused recruitment professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment.
You’ll bring:
- Proven recruitment experience within mining, resources, or heavy earthmoving industries
- Experience leading or mentoring recruitment team members
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment and mobilisation processes
- Demonstrated success building talent pipelines and delivering against workforce demands
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and outcomes
- Solid systems and reporting capability
Qualifications:
- C Class Driver’s Licence (essential)
- HR or related qualification (desirable)
